Time to open the chest!
The first drawer on the chest will be used for today and day 3, and has a painted Santa hat with a spider dangling from the tip.
There's only one thing in the shared drawer, because, with the inability to have gotten every gift ready from the start, I'm playing by the rules of my childhood Advent elf--the calendar only contains the gift of that very day, delivered nightly. This way, there's no cheating.
The package is wrapped in pink tissue--just like Sadie's coffin!--and tied at the ends like a candy. A tag marks the day and there's a drawing of a candle on it.
This was absolutely a buffer gift--I didn't get any arrivals of other options yet, so Past hopped into day 2. I really don't want to run the Christmas Carol cast out all consecutively, but I can if I need to. I pre-wrapped the Minis and drew associated symbols on their tags so I could remember who was in which wrap, and that let me draw a number on afterward when I decided what day they'd land on. Adaptability!
Sadie's thinking about writing a letter to Satan to get her Advent imp sorted out, but she still likes Christmas Past. We're both hoping for a bit ot a change of pace tomorrow. If not, it's what it is.
Happy trio so far. :) if you're waiting on post, it's an advent surprise for you too!
